In commemoration of MLK Day, i2i will facilitate a Social Justice Journey at the IDEA Center from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Monday, January 21st. Starting every half hour, this experience will guide participants through activities, refections, and key concepts designed to foster personal growth and community refection on topics central to the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The experience will start with a short presentation to provide a foundation for the activities that follow. Participants will then navigate the remaining activities at their own pace. Members of i2i will be available throughout and after the experience to help people process their thoughts.

We ask all participants to come with an open mind, eager to identify where Portage County and its residents can grow through commitment to further work. Families are encouraged to participate in this experience together but should expect some adult concepts and language.

Please join us as we apply the work of MLK to our community!

i2i is focused on creating discussions and inspiring action to make Portage County a more inclusive and welcoming community.

The IDEA Center is a CREATE Portage County initiative located at 1039B Ellis Street. Free parking is available in the lot across the street from Edgewater Manor on Water Street. CREATE Portage County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit investing in the cultures that make Portage County thrive.
