Summer 2017 Playwriting Workshop in Stevens Point

I am happy to be spending some time in Central Wisconsin this summer with friends and family and I am also excited about leading an eight-week playwriting workshop this summer in Stevens Point. The workshop will take place on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 PM.  In this workshop writers will explore character, dialogue, setting and conflict. This workshop is open to writers of all levels, from people who have already written scripts to those who are just starting.

The workshop will conclude with an informal staged reading for friends and family on August 8.

The cost for this workshop series is $200. The dates: June 6, 13, 20, 27; July 11, 18, 25; and August 8.

I am a Stevens Point native who lives in New York where I am a writer, director, actor and educator. I am on the Theatre Faculty at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York.

My plays include The Game Show, Chimera, Station Identification, The Wading Pool, How to Hug a Tree and Little Pea – A New Musical for Young and Old Audiences.
